Handcrafting SINCE 1983The Fudge Kyst story began almost four decades ago in a cosy home kitchen in the heart of St Ives, Cornwall.
Yvonne and Malcolm created their own original fudge recipe using the traditional way of cooking with copper pans on iron stoves. They perfected and honed this recipe, adding a range of flavours resulting in a deliciously creamy Cornish fudge. |
Mr & Mrs FudgeA beautiful shop premise on The Wharf in St Ives was secured and Fudge Kyst was born, “Kyst” being the Cornish word for box.
Yvonne and Malcolm ran their successful fudge business from this harbour side shop for many years. They became affectionately known as Mr and Mrs Fudge to their many loyal customers. The Fudge Kyst tradition continues today through a second shop on iconic Fore Street, set amongst a collection of interesting, independent stores. The business remains family owned and is run by Malcolm & Yvonnes son Karl, daughter in law Wendy and their family. |
Handmade in St IvesCustomers return year after year to purchase their favourite Cornish fudge, choosing from over twenty mouth watering flavours.
Fudge Kyst fudge is still lovingly hand made near St Ives harbour, just a stones throw from the original and existing shop. Traditional cooking methods are still employed in the fudge production, using only natural ingredients and no preservatives. Fudge Kyst remains a truly traditional, authentic and proud Cornish product. |
"Please visit this place if you're in St Ives, the shop is run by the loveliest people, it's reasonably priced and the fudge is the best I've ever tasted! Over my week of staying in St Ives, I tried the Peppermint, coffee, lemon meringue, ginger and cornish clotted cream, they were all amazing but my favourite was Peppermint. 5 Stars!!!!"
